Old Harry's Rocks
Old Harry's Rocks are chalk formations off the Handfast Point of Studland, on the Isle of Purbeck. You can park easily in National Trust car parks the nearest of which is approximately 25 minutes walk to the viewing points. From where we set off there is a hill but it is not steep, the path then levels and for the most part is level and easy walking. The rocks are located off the Southern coastal path.
There are plenty of places to get refreshments. It is a great place for wildlife and birdwatching.
Other attractions nearby are Corfe Castle and a short drive will find Lulworth Cove.
Another way to visit is by steam train which sets off from Norden, you would be slightly restricted by timetables but its a fun way to see Corfe.
It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive from Quiet Woman House, via Dorchester, why not stay here and visit there?
