Lonely Planet Rating
I have never met anyone who has been to Bhutan, nor have I been myself so I will bow to the Lonely planet guides greater knowledge. Still, I think that with a little bit of sunshine Dorset is a wonderful county to visit and the Lonely Planet use the image of Durdle-Dor in their write up so they clearly agree!
They also say that England has great walking (true) and friendly B&B's (very true) and there is something of interest pretty much wherever you go. (Also true)
Image of Quiet Woman House (doing it's best to look friendly) from the lane out front.
We are well placed to visit Durdle-Dor, and the Cerne Abbas Giant and the Jurassic coastal town of Lyme Regis.
The hillside chalk giant at Cerne Abbas (I'm guessing beer was involved!!)
Lyme Regis harbour and famous Cob. (What is better than fresh fish n chips by the beach?)
All that aside we are surrounded by great houses and gardens both privately and National Trust owned and good eating places too.
Okay, I've banged the drum, now it's up to you. Email us directly and ask for offline rates and get booking to visit the 2nd best country as rated by Lonely Planet.
Be great if you actually mentioned this blog!!
